The 14th annual "Until There's A Cure Day" will
be held at AT&T Park. In 1994, the Giants became the
first-ever professional sports team to host an AIDS benefit
game, "Until There's A Cure Day." Since then, the
Giants and the Giants Community Fund have repeated the effort,
generating more than $900,000 for Bay Area AIDS education
and care/service organizations and international AIDS research.
This year, Asian & Pacific Islander Wellness Center has
been chosen to receive $10,000 to support our crucial programs
serving high-risk Asians & Pacific Islanders throughout
the Bay Area.
Until There's A Cure Foundation is a non-profit organization
founded in 1993 by two California mothers who were concerned
about the effects of HIV/AIDS on the lives of children. "The
Bracelet" is the cornerstone of the Foundation and has
become a recognizable symbol of hope and remembrance in the
fight against AIDS. Please visit www.until.org for more information.
