Asian & Pacific Islander Wellness Center Offers Free Volunteer Training

San Francisco (December 2 - 3, 2005) – Asian & Pacific Islander Wellness Center (A&PI Wellness Center) is training prospective volunteers Friday and Saturday, December 2 and 3. The one and a half day training will be held at the agency’s San Francisco office, located at 730 Polk Street, Fourth Floor, and is free and open to individuals interested in volunteering for A&PI Wellness Center. World Aids day

A&PI Wellness Center will be hosting a community room for members to commemorate those who are affected by HIV and AIDS. It will be a quiet place for those who would like to reflect, remember, and we will also be providing HIV testing all day.

Commemorating the 7th Annual Transgender Day of Remembrance
Led by our Transgender Program staff, we will be joining city wide efforts to honor those who fell victim to anti-transgender violence. This day will take place on November 20, 2005.
