Male AIDS risk factors
for A&PIs from 1993 to 2002 are: MSM (62.5%),
IDU (14.3%), MSM/IDU (10.7%), heterosexual contact (7.1%),
transfusion/transplant (3.6%), and unclassified (1.8%).
For Females: heterosexual
contact (62.4%), maternal risk (12.5%), transfusion/transplant
(12.5%), IDU (6.3%), and unclassified (6.3%)
For both genders, data trends from 1983-1992 to 1993-2002 indicate
significant increase in IDU risk.
