Helen Zia honored by NLGJA

SAN FRANCISCO - September 28, 2004 — Join the Northern California Chapter of NLGJA (National Lesbian & Gay Journalists Association) in celebrating Helen Zia — a long-time A&PI Wellness Center supporter — for her excellence in journalism on Monday, October 25, 6:30-8:30 pm at Harry Denton’s Starlight Room at the Top of the Sir Francis Drake Hotel. Helen Zia is a contributing editor to Ms. Magazine and a contributor to the New York Times, Washington Post, The Nation, The Advocate and more. She is an Expert Fellow in the Justice and Journalism Program at the University of Southern California's Annenberg School of Journalism. Her acclaimed book, Asian American Dreams: The Emergence of an American People, is now in its fifth printing. Congratulations to Helen!
