Asian & Pacific Islander Women's
Wellness Day Held March 28 in San Francisco

The second annual Asian & Pacific Islander Women's Wellness
Day, a free event providing health information and resources
to local Asian & Pacific Islander and transgendered women,
will take place on Friday afternoon, March 28, from 2 through
7 p.m. The event is sponsored by Asian & Pacific Islander
Wellness Center, and will be held at the agency's San Francisco
office, located at 730 Polk Street, 4th Floor, between Eddy
and Ellis Streets.
The educational event features free acupuncture, massage,
pregnancy tests, pap smears, oral HIV testing and information
from health and social service agencies. Attendees will receive
gift bags with health care and beauty products. Food and entertainment
also will be provided.
