Thai New Year Celebration Held in San Francisco on April 11
(San Francisco, March 17 2004)

A celebration of the Thai New Year will be held in San Francisco on Sunday, April 11, from 8:30 p.m. to 1:30 a.m. It will take place at Glas Kat Café, 420 4th Street (between Bryant and Brannan Streets). A donation of $5 - $15 is requested, with proceeds benefiting event sponsors Asian & Pacific Islander Wellness Center and the Thai Association of Northern California

The Thai New Year Celebration includes traditional Thai musical performances; a costume contest with prizes awarded to the best-dressed man and woman attending in Thai costume; dancing; and food.
