Staff member Ryan Fuimaono, Executive Associate, was named one of four recipients of the Rickey Williams Leader Fellowship on Tuesday, December 12, 2006 at an event hosted by Horizons Foundation at the San Francisco LGBT Community Center. Horizons Foundation and And Castro For All have partnered up to create this new fellowship program which is designed to support LGBT organizations focused on people of color communities by recognizing and fostering leadership from within the communities themselves. Ryan’s will work on an oral history project which he plans to use as a tool to increase visibility and representation of LGBT Pacific Islanders in San Francisco-Bay area.
