A&PI Wellness Center to receive $25,000 from Gilead Sciences for Hepatitis B Services

October 2006, San Francisco, CA-A&PI Wellness Center is proud to receive a first-ever grant from from Gilead Sciences to support the launch of our hepatitis B services through community outreach; testing, screening and vaccination; linkage to care/treatment for A&PIs living with hepatitis B virus (HBV); and educational support groups. We look forward to rolling-out innovative preventive measures against co-infection of HIV and HBV. In the past year, thanks to Gilead Sciences we have been able to expand community-based access to multi-lingual HIV testing.
